  • Q: Why doesn't my calendar event show up immediately when I submit it?
    A: Your event gets sent to the Semo.net staff for approval. After the event has been approved it will show up on the calendar.
  • Q: Where is the Semo.net lotto on the new site?
    A: After much consideration, we regret to announce that we have discontinued the Semo.net Lotto contest. We would like to thank all of our customers that have participated in the weekly event and to congratulate all of the previous winners!
  • Q: Where can I find links to local newspapers?
    A: These are now on our Entertainment page.
  • Q: Where can I find weather information?
    A: We now have a Weather section in the middle of our main page. Click on the Daily Forecast and Radar sections for more detailed information.
  • Q: How can I check my statement or find other semo.net billing information?
    A: You can see that information online at https://billing.semo.net/login.asp, or call our billing department 877-686-9114.
  • Q: Does semo.net offer a spam filtering service?
    A: Yes. We do offer a spam filtering service called Postini. You can read about the service that we offer and sign up here http://semo.net/postini.php.
  • Q: Does semo.net offer newgroup access?
    A: Due to a lack of sufficient interest from our users, we no longer offer newsgroup access as part of the semo.net service. We recommend users interested in newsgroup access try an independent provider such as GigaNews or SuperNews.
  • Q: How do I contact you regarding a billing question?
    A: You can either call us at the phone number listed at the top of this page, or email billing@semo.net.
  • Q: How can I pay my bill online?
    A: Click here to go to our online payment form. You can also get there by clicking the "Online Bill Pay" image at the bottom of our main page.
  • Q: Where can I find a list of dialup access numbers?
    A: That can be found here, as part of our Help Desk section.
  • Q: How do I make semo.net my home page?
    A: To make semo.net your home page please follow the steps below.

    For Internet Explorer Users:

    1) Click on "Tools" on the menu at the top of the browser.
    2) Click on "Internet Options" at the bottom of the menu.
    3) In the box that says "Address" remove the current URL and replace it with http://www.semo.net.
    4) Click "OK".

    That should make your homepage now semo.net in Internet Explorer.

    For FireFox Users:

    1) Click on "Tools" on the menu at the top of the browser.
    2) Click on "Options" at the bottom of the menu.
    3) Click on the "Main" tab at the top of the box.
    4) In the box that says "Home Page" remove the current URL and replace it with http://www.semo.net.
    5) Click "OK".

    That should make your home page now semo.net in Firefox.
  • Q: How can I change my email address?
    A: Call our tech support line at 1-877-686-9114, and we'll be happy to make the change for you.
  • Q: What is your return policy on equipment I've purchased from you?
    A: Any computer hardware or equipment sold by Poplar Bluff Internet is covered by a 30 day limited warranty.


    Faulty or defective items may be exchanged for an identical item (same model) at no additional charge. If item must be shipped, a shipping fee will apply. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

    All items returned for a refund will incur a restocking fee of 20% the original purchase price. All items returned for a refund will incur a restocking fee of 20% the original purchase price. Items special ordered may need to be returned to the original vendor or manufacturer. If item is returned to original vendor or manufacturer, an additional restocking fee may apply.

    ALL refunds and exchanges must be completed within 30 days of the original purchase date.

    Any refunds offered will be available at the end of the month in which the item is returned. A check for the amount of the refund will be mailed to your address. Alternately, refund checks can be picked up at our office at the end of the month in which the item is returned.
